Korean acapella group MayTree has gone viral for a series of videos released on YouTube depicting all the nostalgic sounds we’re used to hearing from our favorite pieces of tech.

From various iPhone ringtones, to Windows startup chimes, and everything in between, the acapella group has managed to flawlessly recreate all these wonderful, familiar sounds using the power of their voices.

The accuracy is uncanny.

They first released a video going through all the different Windows operating system sounds on January 22, 2021. Since then, the video has garnered over 3.1 million views at the time of writing.

Watch and listen in awe below (headphones highly recommended):

My favorites from the Windows video include ‘Windows Vista’, ‘USB in’, and ‘Windows is shutting down’. Absolutely breathtaking if you ask me.

It even caught the attention of Windows:

And then on February 5, 2021, the group blessed us with yet another system sounds acapella video. This time, they covered Apple’s iconic iPhone ringtones and chimes, with over 4.6 million views at the time of writing:

I can’t get enough of ‘Silk’, ‘Timba’, and of course, the ever-deafening and heart attack-inducing ‘Alarm’.

Also, if you look very carefully at the girl holding the tablet, her eyebrows are straight up vibing with the tunes.

Best comment in the iPhone video:

And more recently, on February 20, 2021, MayTree gave Korean smartphone giant Samsung a go. With nearly 2 million views at the time of writing, it’s a work of fine art:

As a Samsung Galaxy owner myself (Note10+), I’m frankly quite amazed that they managed to make ‘Over The Horizon’ sound even better than the original.

Shoutout to tablet girl:

But of course, MayTree does perform traditional acapella, and they definitely deserve your attention if you’re into that kind of thing.

My current favorite MayTree song cover is their rendition of Ariana Grande’s ‘positions.

Keep up with MayTree on Instagram and YouTube.
